Music Review (The Silence In Black And White - Hawthorne Heights)

I got this CD during it's first week of release. Hawthorne Heights is a great band with extremely good songs ( which is obviously why I gave it a five ) but the songs in my opinion are good simply because of the core emo sound of them, which is great. The lyrics are awfully repetetive in most of the songs, basically saying the words "cut" and "blood" and "die" and "decay" an awful lot, which lacks originality. All of the songs ( 8 at least ) involve depression and hate against self or someone else. But then again, it's what we now call "emo" music. But I like it. Anyone who likes this genre will.

8.9/10
