DVD Review ( Beavis and Butthead: The Mike Judge Collection Volume 3 )

Here it is; my final review of the three volumes. Beavis and Butthead (BaB) Volume 3 has quite a few good episodes; in my opinion more-so than volume 2. This volume ( like the others ) features Taint of Greatness Vol. 3, 11 music videos, promos, special appearences, and my favorite feature, the orignal and uncut version of "Frog Baseball"; the first ever BaB episode. This DVD features 42 episodes; not 40 like volumes 1 and 2. Here's my review; I'll review some episodes on the DVD.

----------

[*] Indicates a "DVD Great"

[*]Yard Sale: 5/5 Mr. Anderson lets BaB operate his yard sale while he goes away for a bit. BaB soon sell everything in his house for very little money.

[*]Shopping List: 5/5 Mr. Anderson gives BaB money to goto the store and buy food for his house. However, BaB only get stuff for themselves.

[*]Nosebleed: 4.5/5 Beavis gets a nosebleed and struggles at finding out how to get rid of it. He soon fixes it with a few tampons.

[*]Ding-Dong-Ditch: 5/5 BaB learn how to play ding-dong-ditch; after several failed attempts.

Huh-Huh-Humbug: 4/5 Part 1 of the 2 Christmas episodes. This one features a "Scrooge" mock where the ghosts of Christmas greet Beavis.

[*]Shopping Cart: 5/5 BaB discover getting hurt by someone will make you rich. Intentionally, they try to get hit by cars while in a shopping cart.

Bride Of Butthead: 2/5 Highly forgettable episode; Butthead orders a Russian wife and she soon falls for Todd instead.

Special Delivery: 4/5 BaB are sent by their manager at Burger World to send a delivery to a house. They go to the wrong house.

[*]Buy Beer: 4.5/5 BaB buy non-alcoholic beer and the cops come not knowing it. The cops soon find out that BaB aren't drunk, they're just really stupid.

Canned: 3/5 BaB find a can of root beer and shake it up and wait until the end of the episode; when they open it, nothing happens.

Drinking Butt-ies: 2/5 BaB find Todd drunk at a party and try and find out how to get beer and chicks.

[*]Die, Fly, Die!: 4.5/5 BaB try to kill a fly in their house. They can't kill it, and soon Beavis throws a rock. It goes through the window and several more fly in.

[*]Work Is Death: 4.5/5 At Burger World, BaB find out that getting injured at work and getting sent home will get them still payed; they try to get hurt.

[*]Frog Baseball: 4.5/5 First ever BaB episode; a real classic. The voices are strange for the characters; ESPECIALLY Beavis. BaB find a frog and play baseball with it. They then find a dog then play dog baseball.

----------

I already told you the special features; and they are just as good as before. All-in-all, volume 3 is on par with volume 2. I still think volume 1 is best byfar, but 1 and 3 are still great buys. If you are a fan of the show, definitely pick up volume 3. It's got some classics.

DVD Review ( Beavis and Butthead: The Mike Judge Collection Volume 2 )

Here it is. My review for volume 2 of Beavis and Butthead (BaB) the Mike Judge Collection. This volume has some great episodes in it as well. This time around, though, the episodes are not cut like in volume 1; which is good. Once again, there are 40 "hand-picked" episodes by Mike Judge, music videos; 13 this time, and part 2 of the featurette: Taint of Greatness. Here we go. Some of my episode reviews; the good and ugly.

----------

[*] Indicates a "DVD Great"

[*]Bad Dog: 5/5 In this episode, BaB think it would be cool to get a kick ass dog. They get a dog that is really vicious and even tortures Beavis before they can get out of the store. Soon enough, the dog runs away.

Animation Sucks: 4/5 This is a good episode. Not particularily funny, but clever. BaB discover that drawing 500 people you will end up with 2 in animation.

[*]Candy Sale: 5/5 BaB sell candy for their school. Only having one customer, they start buying candy from eachother with the only 2 dollars they have. Ending with no candy and only 2 dollars to give to the school.

[*]Bus Trip: 4.5/5 BaB go on a field trip that they are almost late for. Their teacher falls out of the bus windshield after the bus comes to a screeching hault, hurting him badly.

Murder Site: 3.5/5 In this episode, BaB go to a murder site and are completely clueless. They lay all over the evidence and soon they are convicted.

----------

Those are only 5 of the 40 episodes on this set. There is a chock full of good episodes here. In my opinion, this volume isn't good as the first, but it is damn close. All-in-All, it has more features on its third disc, but the episodes just aren't as exciting. As volume 1 did, there are the music videos, Taint of Greatness Part 2, and more promos and special appearences. If you are a fan of the show or already have a volume of Beavis and Butthead, buying this is a no-brainer.

DVD Review ( Beavis and Butthead: The Mike Judge Collection Volume 1 )

This is the first of 3 volumes of Beavis and Butthead (BaB) DVDs. This one is good, but there are some problems. First off, I was dissapointed that in the opening sheet of paper you get says that Mike Judge would not be releasing the older episodes on DVD because he was ashamed of them. That's a slap in the face at fans. I also noticed that there was no commentary; a bummer. And the most dissapointing thing was probably the fact that most of the episodes are "Director Cuts" that don't actually add anything; just take away. Here is my review on the overall boxset and some of the good and bad episodes featured in this boxset. ( There are 40 episodes total on the boxset ).

----------

[*] Indicates a "DVD Great"

Madame Blavatsky: 2/5 A really bad episode. Doesn't go much of anywhere. In this episode, BaB go to a fortune teller and find out their future. A boring episode.

[*]Pool Toys: 5/5 Mr. Anderson leave BaB to finish his pool while he goes out to find Spanish tiles. Little does he know that BaB are too stupid to figure out what to do.

[*]Figure Drawing: 5/5 BaB discover that figure drawing is cool because you can draw naked chicks. But what they don't know is that they also have to draw naked guys.

[*]Mr. Anderson's Balls: 5/5 Mr. Anderson goes golfing and keeps losing his golf balls. BaB take them and sell them back to people; including Mr. Anderson.

The Pipe Of Doom: 2.5/5 BaB find a pipe at a construction site and try to climb in. They get stuck and a news crew comes. They eventually come out, but then try to fit back in.

[*]Safe Driving: 4.5/5 BaB attempt to take a driving test, as well as watch a drivers training video.

[*]Vending Machine: 5/5 BaB try to get food from a vending machine but it won't come out. Beavis waits for Butthead to get money, but Butthead forgets all about it.

[*]Held Back: 5/5 BaB are sent back each grade until they goto kindergarten. Fed up with them, the principal at the elementary school sends them back to highschool.

[*]Choke: 5/5 BaB are eating chips; Butthead starts choking and it's up to Beavis to help him. By the end of the episode, Beavis chokes on the same thing.

Killing Time: 1.5/5 This is a terrible episode. BaB try to kill time by doing stuff waiting for a TV show they want to watch to come on. This is a really boring episode; NOTHING happens.

[*]Tainted Meat: 5/5 Beavis has what seems to be "crabs" and taints the meat at Burger World from scratching himself and touching the hamburger meat.

[*]Beaverly Buttbillies: 5/5 BaB think they struck oil. They attempt to sell it to people around the neighborhood. They soon find out it's not oil they struck; it's a sewer line.

----------

Special Features: There are quite a few special features in this volume; as do volumes 2 and 3. There are 11 music videos with commentary by Beavis and Butthead. There is a Taint of Greatness documentary, Part 1, giving you a look inside to see what Beavis and Butthead is like around the world. It features Mike Judge as well as others that worked on the show. There are also Beavis and Butthead special appearances, promos, and montages.

This ( even though it has several problems ) is overall a great DVD. I was happy to see Beavis and Butthead finally on DVD. Sure the episodes are censored and it sucks, but it's all we'll get. Even with the episodes edited, if you're a true Beavis and Butthead fan, you will still find this DVD set great and fun to watch. I highly recommend this to fans of the show. It's a really good boxset well worth the money.

DVD Review ( Drake and Josh: Suddenly Brothers Volume 1 )

Drake and Josh is my favorite show on Nickelodeon. Even though there are no DVD season boxsets out yet, this DVD came out in early 2005 and I bought it. Here is my review ( I have no life ).

[*] Indicates a "DVD Great"

----------

[*]Pilot: 4.5/5 This is the first episode of the series. Drake and Josh become step brothers and Drake realizes that Josh is a real loser in school. In a case of mistaken identity, Josh has to fight a "jealous boyfriend".

[*]Dune Buggy: 4.5/5 Drake and Josh get a dune buggy from Drake's friend, Trevor, but find out that it doesn't run. After getting it fixed, Drake and Josh aren't allowed to even drive it. Josh gets grounded for lying because of Drake, and Drake takes the dune buggy for a ride regardless. He crashes into a tree and tries to hide his injuries.

Two Idiots And A Baby: 4/5 Josh volunteers to babysit, but Drake abandons the baby to play a concert with his band. Josh soon loses the baby and looks tirelesly around the house for him. Soon, Meghan reveals that she had it the whole time and nobody knows what happened.

[*]First Crush: 4.5/5 Josh promises to play a birthday song on guitar at a girls birthday party. Having no idea how to play it, he has Drake teach him, but the strings on the guitar snap. Drake comes up with a plan that makes Josh look like he's playing it but he really isn't.

Special Features: Outtakes: 5/5 On this DVD there are 8 minutes of outtakes. They are pretty good, too, and are well worth watching. Makes the DVD all more worth the money.

----------

Overall, this is an excellent DVD. The quality for some reason is furry-like on the episodes, but the episodes are still great. It has some of the first episodes of this great series. I really think you should buy it. Since it is from the first season, you will notice some things. First, the whole entire house looks different; especially Drake and Josh's room. The door doesn't even face the same way, and the whole room looks different entirely. You will also notice some "slip-ups" by the director, but you'll forgive them. You should really buy this DVD if you are a Drake and Josh fan. It's really just a bummer there are only 4 episodes and there hasn't been a new volume to this for about a year and a half now.

Why Family Guy Sucks...

I've always been against Family Guy. An unfunny show, with jokes that aren't relevant to the plot. Give me a break. The writing is terrible. Every joke in this show comes from something else; Family Guy can't come up with any jokes of its own. This show is just terrible. Like I said, no originality, horrible story writing, and pathetic episodes are what a show needs to suck. That's what Family Guy is. A real show is a show like The Simpsons, where their jokes ARE relevant to the plot, the stories ARE interesting and creative, and the originality is GREAT. Sure, the show may have gotten a little less awesome, but the show is still great. Family Guy just needs to stop. This is a Simpsons rip-off with a few more dirty jokes. Who cares? Anybody at any age can easily make up a joke like that and make anybody laugh. The Simpsons on the other hand has sticked to its roots since episode one and still does well; proving that a show doesn't have to be funny by swearing or using sex jokes. Family Guy is a pathetic show. A show that sucks beyond all belief. A show that in no way at all should be used in the same sentence as the phrase "The Simpsons" and "Great". Family Guy is a terrible show. A terrible show. The Simpsons is an amazing show. An amazing show.

Game Review ( Tony Hawk's American Wasteland - 360 )

Talk about a disappointment, and a waste of money. Tony Hawk's American Wasteland (THAW) rolls onto the 360 in a disappointing way; and for several reason. Here is my review for THAW.

Graphics: 6/10. One of several let-downs. The graphics look absolutely no different than the PS2 or Xbox versions of the game. There may be a few more and better textures in this game, but the graphics are just terrible.

Sound: 6/10. It's the same exact game that was the PS2 and Xbox game. Same soundtrack, same exact story with no different lines; this game is exactly the same.

Control: 7/10. The control is fine. Just like the Xbox version. I played this game on the PS2 version and the controls are extremely similar. Anyone can use them.

Fun: 6/10. Like I already said, this is a straight up copy of the past THAW games. Nothing is different. The graphics look very much the same, the soundtrack is the same, there aren't even much more features in this game than the others as far as different boards or clothes. This is definitely not worth your money. It's the same game as before, just with a $60 price tag. This game isn't really BAD if you haven't played THAW at all, but if you played a different version of THAW, it's the exact same game.

Game Review ( Madden '07 - 360 )

Madden '07 is not as good as I thought it would be, or could be. It's an average football game with less features than the PS2,Gamecube, or Xbox versions. Here is my review.

Graphics: 8/10. The graphics aren't bad. Good looking character models and stadiums, but the framerate is slow at times, there are repeating cut scenes over and over again, and there are some really unrealistic character movements in this game. Also, the fans look like they are doing jumping jacks the whole time.

Sound: 6.5/10. There is talking on the field and stuff, which is nice, but the commentator sound slike he is talking through a microphone on a jet. It sounds really weird, and it's annoying. The commentator also is boring, and is silent most of the time. Not to mention the game has rap music. Huge minus.

Control: 8/10. Can't be much easier. If you've played any next gen football game yet this year on the 360, you will know how to play this game. The controls are fine.

Fun: 7.5/10. There is nothing great about this game. An update in graphics, and that's about it. It's a boring game. Less features than the older consoles have, and the game is bland. If you start a franchise, you play the games and that's it. It's just football. It's not a really bad game, but it's repetetive. Nothing special here. I recommend you try NCAA Football '07 instead.

DVD Review ( South Park: The Complete Third Season )

South Park: The Complete Third Season, in my opinion, is the worst of the ones I have. ( Seasons 1, 2, and 3 ) I've only seen a few episodes so far, but from what I've seen, there is nothing spectacular about most of them. Here's my review.

----------

[*] Indicates a "Season Great"

Rainforest Schmainforest: 2.5/5 "Getting Gay With Kids" gets stuck in the rainforest and they are saved by Cartman. Guest starring: Jennifer Aniston.

Spontaneous Combustion: 3/5 People wonder why people are randomly combusting, and it's up to Stan's dad to find out why.

The Succubus: 2.5/5 The boys think that Chef's soon-to-be-wife is a demon sent from hell.

[*]Tweek Vs. Craig: 4.5/5 In the first good episode of the season, the boys take their bets on who would win this fight: Tweek or Craig.

Jackovasaurus: 3.5/5 The boys discover a race of creatures, and find out that they are the most annoying things ever. Except for Cartman.

Sexual Harassment Panda: 3/5 A man dressed in a panda suit comes to South Park to teach everybody about sexual harassment.

[*]Cat Orgy: 5/5 This is an excellent episode. Very clever. Cartman gets a baby sitter while his mom goes to a party. The babysitter is Shelly; and hell breaks loose. ( Part 1 of 3 linked episodes )

[*]Two Naked Guys In A Hot tub: 5/5 Stan and Kyle's dads masturbate in front of eachother. Meanwhile, Stan, Pip, Butters, and Dougie escape from the basement and learn that the ATF is threatening to blow up the house believing there's a religious cult going on inside. ( Part 2 of 3 linked episodes )

Jewbilee: 3.5/5 Kyle, Kenny, and Ike go to a Jewish scout camp. ( Part 3 of 3 linked episodes )

(Note: These three episodes are linked because they all run together. There's basically a story for every "Boy" during the meteor shower and this covers their stories.)

[*]Chinpokomon: 5/5 A new toy in South Park tries to brainwash kids so that they will help the Japanese bomb Pearl Harbor again.

Starvin' Marvin In Space: 3/5 The boys help Starvin Marvin while missionaries try to invade his country. This is a Star Wars spoof.

Korn's Groovy Pirate Ghost Mystery: 4/5 Korn helps the boys discover a Halloween mystery in this Scooby-Doo spoof.

Hooked On Monkey Phonics: 3.5/5 Homeschooled kids start going to South Park's public school.

[*]The Red Badge Of Gayness: 4.5/5 Cartman leads the confederacy in a Civil War Re-enactment that gets totally out of hand.

Mr. Hankey's Christmas Classics: 3.5/5 Mr. Hankey hosts the show with a few South Park Christmas songs.

[*]Are You There God? It's Me, Jesus: 4.5/5 Jesus fears no one cares about him anymore, and Cartman starts bleeding out of his ass happily believing he has hit puberty.

World Wide Recorder Concert: 4/5 The boys get back at New York by having the world play the "brown note", which makes you lose bowel control and poop all over.
-----------

The Special Features: There are only a few promos for South Park Season 4, and The Chapelle Show. Season 3 of South Park has some good episodes, but it's not as good as other seasons. Buy it if you're a fan, but if you have a choice of other Seasons, try a different one.

DVD Review ( The Simpsons: The Complete Eighth Season )

Here we are. My last Simpsons DVD review for quite awhile until nine arrives; Simpsons Season Eight. This is another good Simpsons season with even more good episodes. Although I personally think this season is overrated, it's still a great season. My review.

----------

So I gave this season 12 "Season Great" dubs, and it shows just how great this season is. However, it just doesn't compare to the overall greatness of some seasons. Season 8 just doesn't have flawlessness throughtout the whole season. There are some really forgetable episodes in this season, or just mediocre ones. Simpsons Spin-Off Showcase is a terrible episode, In Marge We Trust is a very slow and pretty boring episode, The Old Man And Lisa is far from an entertaining episode, and so on. There are some great moments in this this season, but overall, it just doesn't compare to other seasons currently on DVD. I still highly recommend you buy this season, but it's not the best out there.

----------

All in all, these are some of the finest episodes of the entire series. As you can tell by my 14 "Season Greats", I loved this season and I bet you would too. There are some real boring episodes in this season though, such as Mother Simpson, Sideshow Bob's Last Gleaming, Scenes From The Class Struggle In Springfield, Lisa The Iconoclast, and The Curse Of The Flying Hellfish. There are few average episodes in this season; they're great or terrible, but with the amount of awesome episodes in this season, it should have any Simpsons fan running out to the store.

----------

The Simpsons: The Complete Sixth Season is just one outstanding season with more classic episodes than any other on DVD right now. As you can see, I declared 12 a "Season Great", when on average there are only about 6. If you have money for only one Simpsons season, and you don't know which to buy, definitely buy Season 6.

People often complain about how the packaging of the Homer head is cheap and crappy. Well, instead of whining, they could do something about it. Game Review ( NHL 2K6 - 360 )

NHL 2K6 is just a game that falls way short of spectacular; with several glitches and problems, it makes it one hockey game that is very easy to pass up. Here is my review.

Graphics: 6.5/10. These graphics are simply just funky. The character models like they are inside of airtight plastic bags, and look like they are glowing angels, while everything else looks horrible. The audience is ugly, and everything else is just bland. Also, the presentation is sad and pathetic. The menus are just boring. Also, the cut scenes repeat just after 2 games. Pathetic!

Sound: 6.5/10. Annoying commentary. The announcers sound like they were two payed men who have never even seen a hockey game. Their voices are just so fake sounding and it's obviously scripted and doesn't even sound convincing. Extremely annoying. The soundtrack, too, is bad. There are basically no good songs in this game. Other than that, the other sound in this game is just nothing different then any other hockey game.

Control: 7/10. Control is essentially too easy. Anyone can learn to play this game in about 5 minutes. The main reason I dislike the controls is just that the AI is way too easy. I play on pro/all-star and the AI difficulty is sickening. You will find yourself outscoring the AI by about 5 or 6 goals a game on many of the difficulty settings.

Fun: 7.5/10. Despite its many problems, NHL 2K6 is still a decent game. The new goalie feature is unique and could be quite useful, but it just doesn't feel right; maybe next year. The AI is basically shot, the menus are nasty, and the graphics are sad. Nothing about this game is next-gen at all; the only good thing about this game is that it was recently dropped from $60 to $40; but that still doesn't mean you should purchase this mess of a hockey game.

Game Review ( NCAA Football 2007 - 360 )

I haven't played a football game for a few years now because I haven't seen any difference in them except graphically. Having a 360, I decided to try this game out and it was some suprise.

Graphics: 8.5/10. Definitely not as good as they could have been. Close ups look great, but the cut-scenes are looped over and over again and from the "hike" position, the graphics don't even look that spectacular. ( At least on a standard TV ) Madden '07 will look much better than this.

Sound: 9/10. Great commentary. I haven't heard the same thing twice since I rented this game and the audience sounds good, too. Also, the players on the field make some nice gruesome noises when they are smacked to the ground.

Control: 8.5/10. Easy enough. I never held an Xbox controller until I got the 360, and even I know what to do easily. There is quite a learning curve to being able to completely master them, but anybody can pick up this game and know the basics right away.

Fun: 9/10. This game is just like any other football game made in the last few years. It has the same features, just a graphical boost. The games usually tend to be extremely close ( about %80 of my games go into overtime ) and the AI is pretty good. The few problems this game has though, are that often times even with some of the best teams, the recievers will drop the ball for no reason. Also, it just doesn't expand anymore. There's Dynasty mode, and a few mini games, but that's about it. All in all, though, it's still a great game that any sports fan should try.

----------

Overall, season four of The Simpsons just has stunningly good episodes; basically all of them are worth watching. Any Simpsons fan should also buy THIS season just because of that. There are several classics, too. This is most definitely a season worth purchasing.

Game Review ( Pokemon Trading Card Game - GBC )

Pokemon Trading Card game used to be my favorite game on the Gameboy Color and it might still be; it's a suprisingly fun and addictive game. It's also great to have if you have nobody to play the real game with at home.

Graphics: 7.5/10. Well, it's a card game. The attacks look pretty decent, though, because when you use an attack it animates it. Outside the duels, it looks just like Pokemon Red, Blue, and Yellow.

Sound: 8/10. The theme song and duel songs are actually pretty catchy, suprisingly. There's nothing good or bad about it. At least it's not horrific.

Control: 9/10. It's just as easy as playing cards. I was able to play when I was 8; so this should be easy to play for anyone.

Fun: 9/10. It literally only took me a half hour to beat this game; but it is still a really fun game to just pick up and play. It's a really suprisingly fun Pokemon game that even people can still enjoy playing today.

DVD Review ( South Park: The Complete Second Season )

Here it is; my review for the second season of South Park. Man is this season full of classics. Like when Cartman finds out his mom is a dude in "Cartman's Mom Is Still A Dirty Slut", and when a chicken f*cker comes to South Park in "Chicken Lover", when Kyle fears for his brother Ike's "fireman" in "Ike's Wee-Wee", you can't for get about "Clubhouses", another season great, plus many more. Here we go.

----------

[*] Indicates a " Season Great "

Not Without My Anus: 5.5/10. This aired on April Fool's day; so instead of telling the fans who Cartman's dad was, they ended up getting ( in my opinion ) the worst episode of the season. In this episode, Terrence and Phillip are framed for murder. Mediocre episode.

[*] Cartman's Mom Is Still A Dirty Slut: 9/10. To everyone's suprise, we find out that Cartman's mom is really his dad. Now if that's not disturbing. This is an excellent episode.

[*] Chicken Lover: 9.5/10. An excellent episode in which a chicken f*cker enters South Park. Officer Barbrady goes to school to learn to read in the side story. Awesome, awesome episode.

[*]Ike's Wee-Wee: 9/10. Kyle learns that Ike is going to get his wiener chopped off. ( Or so he thinks. ) He soon finds out, though, that he's just getting circumsized. In the side story, Mr. Mackey is accused of doing drugs.

Conjoined Fetus Lady: 7.5/10. Kyle, Kenny, Stan and Cartman join a dodgeball team, and learn that Pip is an excellent player.

The Mexican Staring Frog Of Southern Sri Lanka: 7/10. In need to write a paper, Stan asks his Uncle Jimbo what Vietnam was like. Mr. Garrison sends the class to detention for making a false paper. To get back at his Uncle, Stan tapes and sends in video to his Uncle's TV show to make people think the Mexican Staring Frog Of Southern Sri Lanka is real.

City On The Edge Forever: 8/10. The first flashback episode of the series. It includes flashbacks of past episodes, with little twists involved. The busdriver becomes a stand-up comedian.

Summer Sucks: 7/10. The boys find out that fireworks are banned in South Park and become sad. The only thing legal in South Park are "snakes". The city lights the biggest one in the world. Also, Cartman learns to swim.

Chef's Salty Chocolate Balls: 7/10. Chef makes "Salty Chocolate Balls" for a festival that is coming to South Park.

Chickenpox: 7.5/10. The boys' parents decide that it's good for them to get chickenpox at an early age and intentionally send them to Kenny's house to catch it.

Roger Ebert Should Lay Off The Fatty Foods: 7.5/10. The boys at South Park soon get a habit of going to the planetarium, and the town soon finds out why.

[*]Clubhouses: 9/10. Stan and Kyle start building a treehouse to play truth or dare. Cartman soon does, too, and Stan's parents get divorced. Finally, after a drought of bad episodes, a good one shines.

Cow Days: 8.5/10. The annual Cow Days festival comes to South Park and makes for another great episode. Cartman gets hurt and thinks he's a prostitute, and the boys put their balls in Jennifer Love Hewitt's mouth.

Chef Aid: 7/10. Chef finds out that a song he wrote was stolen and the boys take his defense. In the side story, somebody starts attacking Mr. Twig.

Spooky Fish: 8.5/10. Stan's Aunt gives him a fish that kills people and nobody believes Stan when he says the fish is doing it. The boys decide they have to get rid of it.

Merry Christmas, Charlie Manson: 8.5/10. Cartman's uncle and his friend Charlie Manson escape from prison. Charlie Manson after watching "How The Poo Stole Christmas", decides that being good is better than being bad and changes his ways.

Gnomes: 8/10. Mr. Garrison gives groups of five an assignment ( Kenny, Kyle, Stan, Cartman, and... Tweek ) about something going on in the world. Tweek's dad writes them a paper, while a coffee shop is being built to his.

Prehistoric Iceman: 8.5/10 Kyle and Stan discover an iceman that was frozen in 1996. In belief that if Steve/Gorak ( the iceman ) goes free, he will be frightened by the future, so he puts him in an exhibit that only has stuff released in 1996.

----------

South Park: The Complete Second Season no doubt has classic episodes, but it also has stinkers. For the most part, most episodes are just "okay", but some just dazzle. The set itself also has a few problems. First, there is still no commentary, ( That starts in Season 3 ) and Second, in the start of the episodes in which Matt and Trey open them, the sound is really quiet, but when the episode starts it gets extremely load, which is very annoying. Also another thing I didn't understand, is why Matt and Trey stopped opening episodes after the episode "Clubhouses", I believe it was. All in all, South Park: The Complete Second Season should still be bought by South Park fanatics. There are some great episodes here.

Bonus Features ( On disc 3 ):
"Chocolate Salty Balls" Music Video: 6.5/10. A boring video that serves no purpose.
Goin' Down To South Park Documentary: 9/10. A pretty interesting documentary on how the show got started, and what it's like in society. Well worth watching.

Game Review ( Advanced Warfighter - 360 )

I rented GRAW just recently and I was pleasently suprised at how good the game was. Reviews all over the place gave this game really good reviews, but mainly just because of the graphics; or so it seemed. This is my review for IMO the best 360 game to date; Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon: Advanced Warfighter.

Graphics: 10/10. Anyone who has seen this game knows the graphics are amazing. The character models and enviroments look great and the explosions are super pretty. This is most definitely the best looking 360 out right now. Really I don't understand why Mexico seems so deserted, though, but you'll forgive it because of great gameplay.

Sound: 8.5/10. Pretty good voice acting, but it's nothing too special. The AI chit-chats too here and there, but there's nothing too big. The explosions sound good, though, and the sound of the guns are well done.

Control: 7.5/10. Like most Ghost Recon games, the control is a bit strange, but being on a 360 controller, it's even harder. There are several things you need to learn and it will take quite awhile to get used to. It definitely makes the game harder than it really should be.

Fun: 9.5/10. I recently played the online demo of this game at the Xbox Live Marketplace, but I haven't played it yet on the full version. I thought even the demo was playable for hours just because it in my opinion is that fun of a game. You can also play Co-Op online or offline on the single player missions, which makes this game worth buying just for that. The learning curve may take up to an hour or so, but once you get used to this game, you won't put it down. It is also a VERY realistic game, 1-3 shots and you are dead. This is a must buy for any 360 owner.

Game Review ( Oblivion - 360 )

The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion got a lot of attention, and I decided to try it out. As a fan of Everquest, I figured this game would be somewhat similar. I was right. This is my review.

Graphics: 9/10. People say the graphics in this game are stunning and the best on the 360; maybe so in some cases, but there are just so many glitches. When in the open and if you look in the distance, the land looks very blurry. There are also little "hiccups" in gameplay occassionally where the game will stop to load. Other than that, the spells look nice, the character models are good, and the creatures are cool. Another thing strange I noticed, though, was the water. It looks great, but when you dive in there's no splash, and if you look behind you, it looks like a really cheap wave. Also, you don't get wet, either.

Sound: 9/10. Nice voice overs, great battle music, and really great attention-to-detail sounds. It sounds like you're really in a forest when the birds are chirping and the water is moving, and what not. Good sound.

Control: 9/10. It is an RPG, so you will have to learn the controls. It isn't too hard, but it can get a little bit frustrating. While fighting in a battle, it is sometimes annoying that when you slash, you won't hit them, even when you're targeting it. The control is still pretty nice.

Fun: 9/10. Oblivion is a good 360 game. I don't think it's as good as people say neccessarily, but it's still a great game. Oblivion should have you playing for a long time; leveling up, exploring new lands and creatures, and just getting new quests. I strongly recommend you try Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion.
